Dear Valued Security Central Dealer

For some time now, AT&T has indicated that they intend to shut-down their 2G Network beginning in January, 2017. This notification is the latest in a series of communications reminding you that you and your subscribers must move all monitoring facility communications from the current AT&T 2G Network to a mutually acceptable alternative communications service or network before the AT&T 2G Network can no longer carry signals to our monitoring facility.

We can only monitor signals we receive. Accordingly, we strongly recommend that you and each of your subscribers immediately transition each of these accounts to another communications service or network and that you immediately inform (or re-inform) each of your subscribers currently using the AT&T 2G network that we cannot monitor signals we do not receive.

AT&T has begun the process to shut down their 2G service. Large areas of the US are already loosing 2G service. Time is running out to make this transition. We urge you to complete these tasks immediately.

We thank you for your loyalty to Security Central and if we can be of any assistance in this matter, or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our IT department at 1-800-560-5097.
